I went here from 9/1955 to 6/1957. Happy to see it is still there. If I remember correctly, the cornerstone said 1927. They used to close the school when it snowed too much because even back then they were afraid of the roof caving in! My Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Cisco, first grade Mrs. Long, second grade, Mrs. Kane, and third grade, Mrs. Harrison. I am 59 years old now. May they all rest in peace, and a "Thank You" for a major part of my foundation in knowledge.
