We've always been a Mace Brothers family being that we've lived in Kearny for years, my dad worked there as a teenager, and they never fail to disappoint. I have lived down the block from Melray's and have never bought anything there, so my family and I decided that they seemed decent and we should try them out. I would never go here again. Their customer service sucks. All we bought was a full size mattress, and the mattress they sent to my house had a defective frame (it squeaked so bad that one night I had to take it apart) and the bed they gave me was most likely used on a floor display because of how uncomfortable and unusually worn in it was. After weeks upon weeks of phone tag, the right bed was delivered, except in the wrong size- instead of full, I got a queen. Luckilly the size of the bed didn't eat up my room, so we left it alone. My bed was brand new with a very nice frame (that doesn't squeak!!!) and I've been sleeping comfortably ever since. The two stars is for how awful their customer service is. I would never go here again.

Melray's has nice furniture, good prices and the POOREST service you will ever deal with in retail.

I ordered 4 pieces of furniture in Jan 2013 and as of May 7, 2013 I have received ONE piece of furniture.

Two pieces were delivered in APRIL and were the wrong chairs!

The 6-8 weeks delivery stated on the receipt is a FLAT OUT LIE!

Save yourself a lot of hassle and wasted time in countless phone calls (with no clear answers)......take your business else where.
