Juliana:
As soon as I stepped foot into this terrible place, I knew I would regret it due the lack of organization, their jitteriness, and terrible stench that was presented. The reason why I stayed was because I went there in the past, and they have done a sufficient job, I would have never expected this unsatisfaction from them. I had left over acrylic on my nails, and had asked for them to file it all down, the job was poorly unfinished, my nails looked so unevenly filed I took the nail file and started to file them myself. The french gel manicure that I asked for had to be redone multiple times, the WHITE STRAIGHT LINE that seemed so easy to ask for, looked crooked, faded, I also had nail polish all over my fingers. The gel started chipping in no later than three days, and for $30.00 not a single part of my experience was worth it.
Mary:
I went here with Juliana to get my nails done to match a dress I was wearing for an upcoming wedding, I have definitely been to nicer salons (for the same price range) however, Juliana recommended me to try this place out. My first impression was that they seemed very confused and overwhelmed by just three girls, they gave the impression of not knowing what to do. I was constantly switching seats with my sister Maria and that as well was unprofessional. I wanted matte blue nails and two gold metallic stripes at the top of my nail, however the stripe package came out of this dusty old shelf, the packaging was extremely old, and the they put silver stripes on my nail instead of gold. The stripes looked crooked, did not stick onto my nail, as it was so posed to, so I told them to take it off. I left with my nails not looking like the way I wanted it to come out, even though I gave them a picture reference, and not a penny of the $35.00 dollars that I spent was worth it! The matte did not stay on for a long time, within the first week I noticed the matte starting to fade away and chip.
Maria:
I also attended this horrific salon with my sister for an upcoming wedding, immediately I was being disrespected and treated like a little kid, the workers thought that I didn't know and understand what they were doing and saying, however I did not appreciate their lack of respect towards me. I wanted small, simple roses on my nails, however in return I got GREEN, RED, AND WHITE slashes. My nails looked like a five year old got a sharpie and tried to paint my nails in dark, the way they painted my nails did not give a single hint of the roses that I wanted. I was really disappointed how they did not tell me that they were not capable of doing the job, if they did, I would have changed my design. If they were honest, and obviously saw that my nails would not be the same as what I showed them on the picture, and should have told me that what I was asking for was beyond their capability. The $30.00 I spent was a waste of my hard earned money.
Juliana:
I left the place enraged and filled with disappoint as I couldn't understand what had caused, a salon that I used to support so much, fail so miserably and let three customers down. I told them what a terrible job they did, and that they should not have charged Maria in good conscious knowing that the job they did on her nails was so bad, she should have not paid for something so horrendously done. When I explained this to them after paying, the two workers started to argue in a foreign language in front of us, and kept arguing while examining our nails. Need less to say, MELODY NAILS made all of feel robbed for our money, unsanitary, disappointed, and disgusted in the way they ran their soon-to-be-closed-down (hopefully) business. I WILL NEVER GO TO AND REFER THEM EVER AGAIN! If you want to save yourself a whole lot of money and disappointment, try any other nail salon.
