Melody Lanes

An old school bowling alley with the feel of another era. Excellent music playing all the time. The bartender is lovely and old fashioned. $12 pitchers if bud. Done! I can't wait to go for Ladies' Tuesday, when ladies apparently bowl free.

Lane was broken. No suitable bowling balls available. Had to wait a very long time until it was fixed.

Very affordable and very entertaining and FUN

Price seamed reasonable. Dated and a bit smelly when you walk in. Changing carpets I'm sure would take care of that.
Computer scoring is inaccurate so plan on paper if you are a serious bowler which I am not.
We found balls pretty quick for our large group. Lanes didn't seem level. My 4 year old rolled a slow ball and you could see it snaking down the lane.
Had to tell other bowlers to stop dropping the bad language because of the kids around. Management shortly after made an announcement to do the same.

The bowling and the bar here was pretty decent.. but because of the constant interruptions on the bowling and not only on just ours, I'd have to mark this with a one star. The service was terrible on the grounds of servicing for our loss of time due to the mechanical issues from these alleys. The clerk behind the counter informed us that nothing can possibly be done under these conditions even though we paid a good amount for our party, and no one would obviously sit and have their money stolen from in front their faces. This place was the first time and will be the last time of me entering the premises unless they shape up their establishment. Hopefully others view this review before venturing over towards that locale..
