Meineke Car Care Center

My brake light went out. I decided to try these guys out after having a really slow experience at Pep Boys. They all were super friendly, immediately fixed the light, and had me out the door within 10 minutes.

There are decent, hard working people in the world and then there is Frank Sticco from this Meineke. I came in for an inspection and thought I would be in and out as I had just had an full tune up a few month prior but my sticker was about to expire. Frank tells me I need $400 plus of work on my vehicle to pass inspection. I tell him, I didn't have time today to get the work done so I will have to come back. He tells me he can't pass my inspection (obviously) so he tells me to throw him $20 (cash) since he "took a look". He doesn't give me a receipt. A week later, I'm on the highway and I hear a loud pop and my car swerves into the other lane. I slow and pull over on the grass. Expecting a flat tire, I get out of my car to find all the tires are firm and inflated. I start to drive again and the car is trembling and stuttering. By now a state trooper has pulled over to assist me and they observe when I pull forward that my rear left wheel is wobbling. The trooper calls a tow truck for me and they immediately see that two of the five lug nuts have sheared off. I get my car towed to a shop and they tell me that whoever worked on my car last, improperly installed the lug nuts. They put them back on so loosely that they sheared off. The rear right wheel lug nuts were also loose when they inspected them. I confronted Frank at Meineke about this and they denied ever seeing me in their shop and any wrong doing. These are horrible, unjust individuals. What they do to decent, hard working individuals is criminal.

Bad dynamic between employees, with a boss sitting in a chair barking at employees. And they suggested repair solutions that didn't make sense. I know nothing about cars, but they ended up using the ideas I suggested. Owner seemed nice but his employees seemed sub-par.

Awesome place...had a major exhaust emergency and they took care of me in under hour....I finally recommend them

This is WORST AUTO-BODY SHOP ever!!!. The service was horrible. The guy at front desk was very rude and un-professional. I went there to get a quote for brake pads. The guy at front desk asked me to pull the car in to check. I told him that I knew the part I wanted and just I wanted to get a quote first. He started raising his noise and talking non-sense. I was like 'Why are you raising your voice on me?'. He then started cursing at me. I just walked out the door. This is totally outrageous. How could he treat a customer like that? I don't think this place deserves any business if they continue treating customers like this. You deserve better.
