Liars and thieves! Don't trust them and definitely DO NOT BUY from Mecca Auto Sales in Paterson, NJ. Let me save you the heartache and aggravation ... I was foolish to buy a car from them, don't be fooled yourself. You can find plenty of other legitimate dealerships. These guys are bad news. Stay away!
They lied about the car, the service that comes with the car, they didn't honor the warranty ... I'm stuck with a worthless lemon. It's barely drivable and unsalable. I got stuck, you don't have to. Don't buy from Mecca Auto Sales in Patterson NJ.
Within 3 days of buying the car wouldn't start. It took days and days for them to return my call. They "fixed" the car and then charged me for the fix and the tow. I was without the car for 8 days! When I asked them for a receipt from their mechanic for the fees, they couldn't provide me one. I had to pay what ever they wanted, plus towing, to get my car back from them. A month later, I have the same problem! The key is stuck in the ignition ... just like the problem they "fixed".
I brought the car back within the warranty period with several problems. When I picked up the car they couldn't find anything wrong with the it I guess the nauseating fumes coming from the engine are just my imagination (and the imagination of the dozen friends and even bystanders who have commented on it). I guess the rough idling and the engine hesitation are standard to the junk cars they sell so they don't think there's anything wrong with it. There were other issues they ignored as well.
I guess it's just coincidence that 2 days after I bought the car the airbag and the service engine light came on. I wonder if someone pulled the battery while it was on their lot to make the lights go off ... it takes about 65 miles or so of driving until the light comes back on. You can't believe how many problems showed up within the first week. You have to be a pretty skilled fraud to cover up so many issues with a car until it's off the dealer lot.
There are 10 more things wrong with the car that either they were supposed to fix initially and didn't do correctly, or refuse to address under warranty.
Thieves, liars and frauds. Don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT BUY from Mecca Auto Sales of Paterson New Jersey!!!!!!!!
