MDC Brooklyn

After 39 years staying here I can say this is a medium luxury prison. A rather uncomfortable bed and very unfriendly staff but the food was ok. I asked for an xbox but didn't receive it. Pretty nice view and clean towels made it 3 star. If your into a more classic american look but with a modern touch this prison maybe the one for you. I may stay here again if I visit New York.

154 Days detained. Only person in US history charged with perjury based on affidavit in civil case. Medical neglect lead to $535,000 TORT settlement with FBOP & DOJ. I survived thanks to fellow inmates like Carmine Agnello, John Gotti's son-in-law. Bribed MDC staff later busted in Operation Bad Fellas, Sting. Still treated for PTSD thanks to these thugs !

It is horrible It sucks. I was a cadre their. I am a Professional Painter. Once they found this out forget about it. $100.00 per month that was like pulling teeth. Man so Glad that is so over back to the real world. No Furloughs for Cadre Inmates No Real Half Way House. Its the Worst. If you ever have to do Federal Time hopefully they will send you elsewhere. MDC the worst.. Someone said the food it Great yeah right..
