This past week I booked MBJ to cater for a breakfast for 40 people. The set-up time was for 7.15am for a function starting at 7.30am.
No one turned up at that time with the food and I tried repeatedly to call MBJ, but no one would answer the phone. I received a called from the deliverers at 7.38, asking how to get to my address. They arrived at 7.53 at started to set up. At 8.03 with only 7 minutes left of our meeting, the food and coffee was still not ready to be served. I had to cancel the breakfast and 40 participants had to start work without breakfast.
The catering manager, who received an email from me at around 7.40am, did not even have enough manners to call me about this, sending me a lame email claiming the caterers were setting up at 7.45.
