Maximum Tuning

I've never had a problem with Jeff at Maximum tuning. This fellow Greg who gave them the bad review

A) dealer mechanic's always bad mouth independent mechanics. They love to scare people about bad parts. I would suggest you continue going to the dealer, paying 2x as much from mechanics they just hired off the street for nothing.

B) ALL mechanics have to, at some point, make a judgement call, they just do it's the nature of their work. There are sounds and things that could be caused by different issues. When Jeff does this he opts on the less expensive judgement NOT the most expensive. I'm fine with that.

My father and I have been bringing our cars here for years. Great service with regular per hour pricing and they seem love cars. Im not sure if they were more excited then I was when I told them I planned to mod my 08 Mustang GT.

I have been servicing three of my vehicles at Maximum Tuning for a while. By doing so I have been endangering my life and lives of others. Fortunately, I managed to realize the extent of their lack of professionalism and responsibility before it was too late.
The last straw was installation of the winter tires. This was a simple request given the tires were already pre-mounted and balanced. Immediately after the service the vehicle started vibrating dangerously even at low speed. I came back to the shop to demonstrate the problem. They explained it by condition of the tires and advised me to drive it some more before the problem would self-resolve. Luckily, I wasn't convinced and went to the dealer instead. Apparently, I was lucky to avoid a major accident on my way there - all the bolts holding the wheels were lose and some were missing. It also transpired that the rear brakes pads, which Maximum Tuning advised to replace, were in excellent condition according to the dealership assessment just a week earlier.
This wasn't my first problem with Maximum Tuning. I've been giving them benefit of the doubt for far too long. Once, right after the service black smoke start coming out from under the hood. They explained it by a leaf stocked to the engine. In addition, the protective cover fell from under the car (now I think it wasn’t re-attached properly either). Also, the bumper of one of one my cars has been slightly dented and I also got a parking ticket, while the car was in Maximum Tuning care.
However, they never forgot to replace a license plate frame with one advertising Maximum Tuning. When, I see it on the road, I’m trying to keep away in case a wheel comes off.
