Masterpiece Tile & Marble Corp

I would not do business here. The owner is is disruptive to the neighborhood and disrespectful of the older neighbors.

We have used Masterpiece Tile and Marble Corp on several occasions and each time we have been more than satisfied. On our first visit we were looking for a tile to replace old tile around a tub so it had to match an existing decor. The sales person was very helpful and found us a tile that was perfect.
Then we purchased some kitchen tile and the Masterpiece installer did such a fantastic job that we decided to tile a bathroom also using the same tiler.The salesperson was very knowledgeable and made good suggestions re color, grout, etc.
Everyone in the shop has been most helpful and we have been very satisfied.

Do NOT get tile here. EVER. Things started out ok - sales person did a decent job showing me different choices/options, but that's where it ended.

Once I made a decision, she told me the tile I picked usually took 4-6 weeks, but she could get it in two. I was skeptical, but she assured me she'd spoken with her contact at the manufacturer, and it would ship in 2 weeks.

About a week later, she emails me to say it's shipping almost 4 weeks after I ordered, with no explanation or acknowledgment of the two week shipping guarantee she'd made when I was ready to buy.

After repeated attempts to get an explanation or to get her to honor the two weeks timing, nothing. She ignored phone calls, returned calls the next day after saying "I'll call you back in 20 minutes" etc.

She even blamed the manufacturer, saying "they had a problem" but she had no details. I called the manufacturer. There we NO problems.

Once she got confirmation on when the tile would ship, she said it would be expedited to two days, not the 5 standard days. Well, it's been 5 days since the "expedited" tile was supposed to ship, and still no tile.

Scam artists. Liars. Rude. Unreliable.

For us doing business with masterpiece tile was overall a great experience. Their nice sale rep helped us come up with different ideas for our 2 bathrooms and kitchen floor, and we also had them do the installation. Very helpful and knowledgeable people. Will do business with them again soon.

I visited Masterpiece Tile & Marble Corp - New Rochelle, NY to find additional tile for our mudroom. After speaking with the owner, we shared our room size and asked for his advice on design of the tiles and to order tiles for our space, we utilized his expertise to help guide us. WHAT A MISTAKE! After laying out the room dimensions he over ordered our tile so we are stuck with 3 EXTRA boxes with an additional cost of $300.00. Then when trying to return the extra boxes he showed the return policy, which is there are NO returns after ordering tile (that was in stock by the way). We got ripped off, I don’t recommend working with them as they are crooks.
