Timeshare/Massage
My one year experience with massage envy was like having a timeshare. I got caught up in the moment while on vacation and felt I could do this every month. I was sucked in and went for it. The $69.00 per month felt like a steal. Here is the catch. $69.00 plus tax is $74.00. The suggested tip for the massager starts at $20.00. $94.00 is what you really pay each month. A massage every month seems reasonable. If you have a normal work week schedule, once a month is not going to happen. A month is much shorter than you think. I banked so many massages; I ended up giving them away. To stop me from doing that, Massage Envy started charging me to gift my massages. So I went back to trying to do the monthly massages and failed. By the end of the year, I had four massages to kill in 3 weeks. It never felt like the one massage you get while on vacation. The first few months are nice. Seems you get the best massagers. Then it seemed I got newbies. Then I was told I would be charged $10.00 to transfer to other locations which was now an in house rule different for each location. So I stuck to my location. My last few massages were wonderful. Guest they saved the best for last to rope you back in. NOT! Just like timeshares too much vacations/massages
I gave them a three because the place is spotless. Everyone is super nice and it is very comfortable.
