Martin's Roofing

Called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. First appointment they canceled then rescheduled me for the next day. They never showed up or called me back even after I left them a voice-mail message. Very unprofessional... Took my business elsewhere..

I own a mixed use building that is almost a hundred years old.in Maspeth Queens. I decided to call Martin's Roofing and several other roofing companies suggestions and quotes before I made a decision. there was an ugly stone facade with aluminum siding and I really wanted to restore the house to similar look to when it was built in the 1920's. Peter gave me a very fair price and made very valuable suggestions that were details that I hadn't even thought of. He suggested to change the double window into a bow window with french grids ( he also replaced all my other windows to match), and suggested we use a vinyl cedar portman shake style siding and added the scalloped siding along my over hang at the top of the building. He recapped all my windows and re-shingled my overhang as well. Wow! The house looked so close to the way it did when it was built but brand new! We received so many compliments and the whole neighborhood commended us on design and originality we chose. We couldn't have done it without Martin's Roofing and all of the expertise that Pete offered us. We also had our flat roof redone and replaced a skylight over 10 years ago, hasn't leaked ever since, even with the mountains of snow and monsoon like rain we have gotten this past year. We recommended Martin's Roofing to my aunt who owns a mixed use building on 30th avenue Astoria. He repointed the building, refinished the stones, and recapped all her windows and coping stones. It looks terrific and stopped all her leaks. I can't thank this company enough. You get what you pay for!

Unprofessional. After we drew up a contract involving roof work on our garage, sidewalk concrete work and installation of window shutters, Martin's roofing only did the garage work. They strung us along for months, with promises that they would schedule the remainder of the work, eventually. Ultimately, they rudely told us that they don't want to finish the work, in breech of the contract. I would classify the service of Martin's roofing as Rude, unprofessional, and boorish, while their craftmanship is mediocre at best.

Martins roofing has been located 10 blocks from my home for as long as i can remember . When i had a problem with my roof i contacted Martins. Peter came when he said he would.Told me what had to be done , dropped a proposal in my mail box a day latter outlining everything that was included in the price . Can u say professional? Gave me a honest price that included a new sky light , replaced roof exit door (it was rotted) totally put on a new roof with a guarantee that will out live me .(other quotes where the same but never mentioned i needed new sky lights or a new door ) Work was done clean and professionally . Its 6 months latter and i need a roof on another of my rental properties and i of course called Martins again .

I had a water proofing issue for the entire 10 years I have owned my home. I had 3 roofing companies work on my home, and one General Contractor repoint my brick. Peter came, saw the problem instantly and had someone there to fix it the following monday. I couldnt be happier with the service i recieved. I would refer them to anyone.
