Maroni Hot Pots

This place really did live up to the hype. We had the meatballs and garlic bread to start and both were delicious. I was very happy with my ricotta ravioli and my boyfriend really enjoyed the rigatoni. We cleared our plates. Wish they had a better wine selection but we will definitely be ordering take our soon to get one of those cute pots.

I ordered takeout from Maroni Hot Pots as a whim, because the place (though new) has already received rave reviews from friends who beat me to trying it out. And, wow, this place absolutely lives up to the hype!

My husband and I ordered a small takeout portion of the penne a la vodka to share (listed for 1-2 people), but we will have extra for leftovers tomorrow as well. Very generous portions! The pasta and sauce was fantastic for takeout, feels like homemade cooking. The crock pots that takeout orders Coke I (pictured here) are adorable and practical. The food stayed piping hot and tasted like it was straight from the kitchen even a good half hour after we brought it home.

Apparently they will have online ordering soon (and hopefully delivery?). In either case, we will definitely be ordering from here again and plan to try their dine in menu as well. Two thumbs up for this place!

I walking down 77th Street and happened to pass by Maroni Hot Pots. The name and appear of the small, charming restaurant caught my attention so I went in. I looked over the menu and asked out the lovely red pots. The meatballs are served in small, medium, or large size pots which can be kept or returned for a refund. I was hooked. I a small pot of meatballs without pasta home. There were plenty of delicious meatballs. My husband and I loved it. I kept the pot and have used it since. Looking forward to collecting at least one of each size. Maroni Hot Pots is also a lovely place to enjoy an in restaurant experience. Enjoy!
