I found Mark by chance while looking for somebody else to go to besides the dealer (not a fan of Parkway Toyota in Englewood) since I'm past the guarantee mileage anyway, and stopped to get an oil change. The price was inexpensive and fair. Since then, I've had more oil changes, a transmission flush, a timing belt replacement (car has 129,000 miles on it now), and small fixups (brakelight replaced). Each time, the price and work done has been good.
Mark is quiet and hardworking (he is the owner and only mechanic doing all the work) at his two lift garage (the gas at the station (the Enrite) is also consistently one of the cheapest around--if you want to fill-up while you're there). Mark's also open and honest--he asked if I wanted optional work (replacing fan belts), weighing the pros and cons and letting me make an informed decision without pressuring me. Tell him about what you notice going on with your car and he'll take a look. You can watch what he's doing if you really want to--no outrageous pricing either (and I'm a women in my late 20s). He'll explain stuff, and it's clear from the ton of professional automotive repair magazines he has around the office connected to his garage that he knows his stuff and keeps current.
Don't look for shiny counters and glamor--while organized, it looks like a place of work (grease, tools, and various bottles of automotive fluids)--not a showroom or a courtesy desk. I highly recommend him.
