Can anyone say "Angels?" Thats what Maria and her wonderful team was for me. This was my situation. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding. When I purchased my dress I got it a smaller size because I wanted to use it as motivation for myself to lose some of my baby weight from my now 2 year-old son. I went to get my dress hemmed with Maria and she did a fantastic job. She saw that my dress did not fit and I told her my plan. She said that in case I didn't fit into the dress that I needed to bring my dress in time to get it fixed. Fast forward two days before the wedding. I had been working out day and night along with a no carb diet. Yes I did lose weight, 8 lbs. to be exact BUT, I did not lose enough in my back area to zip the dress up. mI thought I was going to have to break the news to the bride that I couldn't be in her wedding. Our bride was battling Cancer at the time as well and I really didn't want to add to her stress. I went into Maria's shop at 9AM. I told her that I needed it by tomorrow night. They took my dress and worked magic! They worked in total for 4 hrs. and always with a smile. I tell you when that dress zipped up all the way I heard the angels in heaven sing. I wanted to cry. I gave Maria and Rosie hugs. I could not BELIEVE that the dress closed. They truly saved the day for me and the wedding day for the bride. I heard them calling me Cinderella. I thought it was cute, because they were kind of getting me ready for the big party. Maria gave me a more then reasonable price and she did not charge me extra for being last minute. Unlike Davids Bridal whom I called and they immediately told me that they could not help me. Thank God for Maria's Seamstress. They were professional, kind, caring, diligent, and most importantly miracle workers. I recommend this seamstress and her team to anyone and everyone. You will have a great experience with them.
