Maria's

I have been spreading the word about Maria's ever since my first visit. The food is the real deal, an anthentic offering of Greek specialties from family recipes of the owners. The fish and shell fish dishes are fabulous. Try the Seafood with Orzo. Home made taramasalada (with toasted pita bread wedges) that will make it impossible for me to eat anything store bought. My friends and I also tried the Osso Buco, and the meat fell from the bone. Go. Take friends. Go again! You won't be disappointed.

I eat here today for a quick lunch and I must say It was absolutely delicious. From the oysters, fish, hummus, and of course the service was the best. My new spot to eat.

Maria's is a special place. The food is superb, the atmosphere is fantastic and the service is unbelievably excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone that I send to eat here has had the same wonderful experience as I have. The seafood is always fresh and expertly prepared and the Greek specialties are second to none. Bravo Maria's!

I went last week, attention of my bosses, with them and my co-workers. The place is nice, the attention very nice, and the food it is amazing. All that we ate was amazing: the salads, the fish, the fried cheese, the wine... but everything was wonderful because the company and all combined gave us a great time !!! Personally, I really enjoyed all!! I will recommend this place...Really liked it!!

When friends told me to come to Marias restaurant,
I was skeptical. Pelagos, which used to occupy the space where Maria's now is, was sub par and yelp gave Maria's a low rating. This could not be farther from the truth. Does Yelp have no taste? Everything about Maria's Restaurant is excellent. The beautifully prepared food wafts delicately of Serres, Greece. Every time we go, Maria herself is cooking feverishly in the kitchen. The wine selection is wonderful, I recently ordered a glass that I was not taken with and Maria's husband came and personally recommended a very fine red which has since become my favorite. Service is wonderful. Ambiance is suitable for a family gathering or a romantic date night. I would give Maria's an 11 if I could! A must try!!!!!!!
