maria l varisco has been one of my favorite schools that my daughter ever went to until 4 th grade. Now that she has enterred 5th grade she has alot of problems with her grades right now Ms tepeli is way too strict about homework she says she counts every homework like a test, and if u dont do it u get lunch detention. U should not go to this school if u want terrible bad grades

THERE HAS TO BE A CHANGE IN STAFF. Teacher's dress like they are going to meet men, they show favoritism and they are annoying as hell. They gossip more than their students and cant stay out of each others business. AND FOR THE SHOES RULE... I THINK ITS HORRIBLE!! In gym they are not allowed multi-colors(I don't know why), they cant wear converse, vans, toms, lebrons, nikes etc. They have to be BLACK, WHITE OR NADA.I don't understand why maybe they thing its going to kill them. Ms.Heyward needs to be fired and so does some 6th and 7th grade teachers. they are EXTREMEMLY annoying and constantly say they "care". There have also been some events where teachers would curse and they would purposely say words like sex.DONT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!11

Maria L Varisco Rogers Charter School is one of the best schools I ever went to. The school has amazing teachers and most of all has really good education.

Other people says that the teachers here show favorites or is rude. That is not true. For example, Ms.Harpal is not mean, she is just strict. She is strict about homework and behavior because that is how life is going to be in high school and college. Next is Ms. Lenzo. Yes, she does give detention if we don't do several homework. She does that because she wants to tell us how the outside world is. The outside world is not nice and not always going to give you other chances. My last example is Ms.Howe. She tutors students for free and helps them with math or just homework so the student could improve.

Teachers don't show favorites. They pick on people who already did that work and is respectful and is trustworthy. They won't pick on a person who will fool around.

Education is one of the best reasons I love this school. The teachers teach their lesson and at the end I know what they are talking about and what they are talking about and I know ow to do that strategy.

An example is my sister. My sister graduated from this school last year and now she is Technology High School which is a magnet school. A lot of students who graduated this school is now in magnet schools which are the best schools.

People also argue that the school doesn't have school trips. That is because barely anybody does fundraisers. The money from there goes towards the trips we attend. The school needs money to go on trips. Money doesn't grow on trees so we can't attend a trip every week.

This school is awesome. If you think your child should have a good education and go to a good high school, your child should come here.

This school is amazing, and there is nothing wrong about it. The teachers try their best to help the students excel, and many of the students do not try to do so. That is something you can't blame on the teachers, who work their hardest to help students. The teachers at the school do not only work to make a living, but to help the community and it's students grow stronger and get a better education. Most of the teachers at the school travel from far and arrive much earlier than the students, so in fact they do care about them. The school rewards the students when they are doing good, and make them feel recognized and important. My daughter in sixth grade and my son in third grade are doing so well in school, and it wouldn't be that way without the teachers. Teachers are blamed for so many inconveniences, and they aren't their faults. The students have their educations in their hands, and so many of them do not even bother to try in school, and that is no one else's fault but theirs. Teachers do all they can to help the students, and are the reason why my children are doing so well. We have students in our school graduate, and go to such great high schools such Science and Bloomfield Tech. Just imagine where these children will go, their futures ahead of them guaranteed to be successful in life as long as they try and have support from their parents. All in all, Maria L. Varisco Rogers Charter School is a great place to send your children, despite what the other bitter reviews have to say about it. Our teachers are amazing, and you will not find any others like them.

Principal Ms. Heyward needs to be fired for being a poor principal, teacher Ms. Harpal seems like she has issues that doesn't need to bring to work and should be dealt with or fired, ms howe seems unstable and dresses provocatively around children, they discipline the students for the most rediculous things so I think thst the school should be observed and the board should fire a lot of the problem employees
