Weird chile sauce. I ordered this because I like to treat myself occasionally to a real hot dog and I like chile con carne. The seasonings were very strange and I scrape off the chile that came on the hot dog. I also was mislead by the name of the restaurant. Rather, it is closer to a Greek diner. I realize that I probably spoken to the manager about the weird chili sauce. This was about in 2013. Perhaps it is better now, but I haven't been back.

I wish I liked this place. The owners of Manny's Texas Weiner also another diner of which I am a regular patron, so I assumed the quality would be similar. I've gone a few times and they just never hit the mark -- the coffee tasted like sausage (maybe just tasted like fennel?) the egg sandwich was bad, and the oatmeal -- are you ready? -- it had potatoes in it. What? Who puts potatoes in oatmeal? Was it a mistake? Is it a trick to make oatmeal last longer, like putting bread in tuna salad? Seems so odd.
