Manhasset Emergency Plumbing & Heating

I called Manhasset Emergency Plumbing and Heating tonight around 6:00 pm, Jan 2, 2014 in the beginning of the first blizzard of 2014 to come to repair our hot air heating system. The heater blew out cold instead of hot air. The man came from a different company.. ah.. ok, and he was a ...... plumber (we found that out later). WHAT? Yes, he was a plumber! He changed the electronic ignition part of the system and it worked again! We are very thankful for that. Since he did not have the part, he claimed that he had to drive all the way to Brooklyn to get the part! But he added the driving cost of getting the part to the bill and it was added up to ... are you ready for it? ..... $700.00. He made a fortune and we got our heat. But a plumber???? with us paying the driving fee????? I am glad he made it back to us safe as well as he did not mess up our heater!
