Mamasushi Restaurant

The wait here on weekends can get ridiculous, my party of 3 wait went from 25 minutes to an hour while we stared at empty tables that were "reserved". The staff finally sat us down when they realized the party of 9 still hadn't arrived and split up their tables. The food is really good but it's nowhere near quality sushi. In fact don't come here for traditional sushi and just get one of their creations. Your expectations and taste buds will thank you.

This is a great twist on traditional sushi. Sushi with a Dominican Spanish twist. I have to say it was very delicious. We had the $200 platter that serves like over 10 people and it great. The coconut mojitos are good. Drinks are over priced.

The hostesses was so rude from the door, the waiter was horrible and the food was nothing to scream about. I went to eat here with 4 other people. We got an appetizer and a few rolls to share and we were going to order more but the service was so bad that we just asked for the check. We even ordered something that came out wrong and the waiters response was, "Well we already made it." He didn't even offer to remove it from the bill. Then there was a 20% tip added for the gratuity automatically. We didn't have a party of 6 like it says on the menu that will automatically add that 20%, but asked the hostesses about it and she explained if the bills over a $100 they will add it. The bill was only over $100 with the 20% added. She gave me a blank stare and asked if I wanted it removed. We had to ask for it to be removed. Btw they weren't just rude to us, they were being rude to other tables around us too. We went to el conde after instead. Went in the middle of the week when they were first opening 2 or 3 pmish.

The first time I gave it a try was as take out and I ordered from home. Honestly it took an hour and 20 mins and the food was a mess and cold. The second time I decided to give it a try by actually going in. The waiter was very moody and rude and gave me a horribly dented soda can with the excuse of there being no more. The food lacks flavor and is very bland in appearance. Will not be returning.

I was there with my love Chila and our son Patrick. It was an unprepared visit for a friend recommendation. The plates were incredibly good prepare, very nice presentation and a marvelous attention. Absolutely we will bw back soon and with many friends. Congratulations
