Malecon Restaurant

I ordered a bacalao lunch I got about 95% rice and 3 tiny pieces of fish the rest was sauce, green peppers & onions. Oh and since I got it with maduros they gave me 2 old shrivel pieces. Definitely not going back everything in the buffet line looked a few days old and tested like so....

The buffet in the front is amazing, so this is perfect for pickup or delivery, but If you want to go for lunch or dinner inhouse I would not recommend this place for the following reasons:

- Real bad service. I feel it used to be better so I used to go but last time it was so bad I decided not to eat inhouse never again at this place.

Some notes from last experience earing inhouse:

- Waitress was mad slow
- We ordered a 20 dollar plate of mofongo with shrimps, the person in our group didnt like it so we told her to take away the plate which was pretty much full, but the waitress said that is not her fault that we didnt like and that we ll have to pay for it (This has never happened to any of us before in any decent restaurant)
- We were a party of 3 adults and she put 15% of tip included as part of the receipt , never seen this in any other places. Even when I get bad service I always tip but NY laws states that restaurant should only do this with parties of 4 and above.
