Mainstay Co-Op

Absolutely love it!

There are lots of pros and cons at Mainstay. They are really strict on their rules, but because of it everything is well maintained. They have some out of date rules like flip tax and a whopping 40% down requirement. But good quiet neighbors.

Do you believe everything in the paper? I currently live in this building and have on numerous occassions said hello to Ms. Sheen. She does not answer. Her family also does not respond when I say hello. I had conversations with others with diverse backgrounds who live in this building and the only one that seems to have a problem is her. Why would you put one article that came out the day that the jury was to hear her side of the case hold so much weight with the general public? The building is clean, the neighbors are friendly, the maintenance is reasonable and it includes gas & electric. I think the prior reviews by outsiders looking at the articles alone do not give the full scope of what this building represents. By the way, the building is 100% owner occupied and all the board members are owners. I have not found them to be racist in any way.
