The rooms were great, the beds not so much. But really friendly and helpful staff. Like hats off to them.

Great proximity to the Jarvis convention center but luke warm shower is a big con. Rooms are tiny but that's expected for NY, NY hotels. Service is okay. Overall, so-so experience.

This hotel is the right place if you Plan to make a City Trip in New York. The Hotel is very clean and the Breakfast, roomservice is exzellent. The Rezeption is very friendly and helpful. We Stayed there for 5 days and we enjoyed our Trip very because the hotel is central and we can visit al the sightseeings.

I was very comfortable and pleased with my stay for the weekend of September 27th. The workers were very sweet and kind. Annie at the front desk was helpful and professional. The hotel is trying to upgrade and progress, which can be difficult for an old hotel in what was once a bad neighborhood. I did some historical research and was fascinated in the history of Hell's Kitchen, and found it interesting to be there. I attended a workshop at the Javitz. It was very easy to quickly walk over there. The center is beautiful and the waterfront is so nice. I also walked quite easily to Times Square. Also, it was easy to take a subway ride to Central Park! Obviously, if I was staying longer and was concerned about luxurious ammenities, I would have stayed somewhere that offered more. But you also pay much more for those things in NYC. My room was very clean. My bed was very comfortable, as it was a newer mattress with memory foam. They seem to be renovating, and actually, it looks like a good job. My bathroom was excellent! Clean and fresh. Everything worked efficiently. The breakfast was really good, and they kept it stocked freshly on an ongoing basis. Annie gave me help getting a shuttle to Newark airport at a very affordable rate. Honestly, I had a good stay and felt secure and happy for the weekend.
