I have enjoyed Mongolian Barbecue in Asia and the U.S. and was looking forward to a memorable meal at Magic Grill. I even brought a small group based on the positive reviews.
The potential is there, but unfortunately some items need attention:
1. The atmosphere: Simply lowering the intensity of the lighting would help a great deal.
2. The grill: Temp was way too low. Mongolian needs a slight taste of char to be authentic.
3. Meat: Should be sliced thinner; otherwise it was nicely curled and frozen.
4. Vegetables: A few more choices would be nice, especially Spinach.
If these issues were corrected, Magic Grill would be amazing and I would gladly make the hour drive at least once per month.
The Staff members were friendly and accommodating and I would love to come back. I hope the owners will read and heed this review and take it as constructive criticism.

I go here frequently. The food is good and the service is friendly. Rarely a problem, but sometimes the small staff gets too busy to keep things clean and keep up with everything.

People love it hear because it's cheap. Basic veggies, meat, and noodles (as carb) with delicious sauces cooked to order right in front of you. You can even be totally shiesty about it and take your leftovers home like I noticed some college kids did.
