For several days I wasn't feeling well so I decided to go to urgent care. I waited about two hours to see a doctor. Finally, I was called in one of the rooms and a nurse took my temperature and pulse. After waiting another 45 minutes, Dr. Maged finally came into the room. She was very weird and cold. Dr. Maged didn't greet me or introduce herself after she walked into the room which was very odd because that is what most doctors normally do. She asked what brought me to urgent care and I explained to her that I've been sick for several days and I thought I needed to seek medical attention since I wasn't getting any better. Without even asking me any questions she said well, I can't really prescribe any medication for you right now since you have these symptoms for only a few days!! All that you need is some over the counter Advil or Tylenol and if you don't get better then come back to us and we will write a prescription for you. I couldn't believe what she said!
I said but I've been suffering for several days already and obviously I'm here to seek further medical care because over the counter medicine did not help me. I said I don't see why I should suffer a bit more and come back again to seek help when I could be feeling better by tomorrow if I have the right medicine. She said okay no problem. It was really obvious that she really didn't care about me as a patient but cared more about pumping more dollars from the insurance companies by having me suffer longer and come back again for another visit.
The whole experience was just unreal, she was unfriendly, rude and obnoxious. I won't be going to this butcher care again.
