Madison Square Garden

The renovation the arena is really nice. The concession has more options but is still expensive. The show I came to see was amazing. No technical issues and things moved seamlessly.

This is the iconic New York stadium. Centrally located in midtown, easily accessible by public transport (Penn Station), hosts the biggest and best in the world. Numerous stadiums and arenas in a giant mega-complex, hosts sports (New York Knicks), concerts, conventions, and everything else imaginable. There has been some effort in recent years to clean it up a bit, and maintain it a bit better, but overall it does sometimes feel like a compromise - location for quality. The prices, however, reflect the location, and are pretty high, basically regardless of what you get - and towards that end, the quality, for the most part (but with some exception) is generally a bit lower than you would expect for an iconic stadium complex in the heart of the city. That being said, going to MSG is a must, there is always a giant headliner, and the entire city is at your fingertips.
