This is your typical Greek diner - and it's an institution in the neighborhood. The omelettes are large portions and a reliable meal. Good diner coffee.

l just walked in there for late desert calling..one canoli and large coffee..
that's it! $9.75 l was so embarrassed to my self not asking how much it was before..but hey..canoli for 6.50
this is my neighborhood joint..never ever put my feet in there again!!!
and coffee tests better on any street vendors than this thiefs!!

A great place for diner-style brunch. Plenty of good food. I'm told the bloody marys are excellent, though I don't like them so can't vouch personally. I love their waffles and chocolate chip pancakes, as well as my standard diner breakfast of corned beef hash and eggs. The place is packed on weekends for brunch but they get people in and out quickly so I've never had to wait too long.

Come hungry! Madison Restaurant has an extensive menu and offers breakfast all day. The portions are large and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and offer quick service. I went on a Friday afternoon for a late brunch. It was fairly busy, but there was no wait to be seated. Try the waffle sundae with 2 scoops of ice cream, walnuts, whipped cream, hot fudge, and a cherry or opt for one of the many omelette choices. I would, without a doubt, go back again.
