Good Korean market. Great for packaged goods and for theirvdeli counter. Favorite among poor Columbia students. Cheeseburger special is what everyone gets. Figures. They have kimchi and thinly sliced meats. I like the kimchi at Westside better but I'm not Korean. As for the sliced meats, I've never gotten sick but I'm always concerned about where they source them and how safely they've been handled. But I have that concern with all the non-Japanese Asian markets.

Great service, limited selection.

Moderately overpriced, though normal for the area. Has a decent selection of packaged Asian goods, has a terribly selection of produce. But you can get some of the essentials, though there's certain things you should just get from Morton's, like scallions.
Store tends to open a little late, and service is passable.

Is Kikkoman really the extent of soy sauce deliciousness?
Is Oodles of Noodles the only way to join the ramen craze from home?
Is paying $5 for three pieces of mochi the only way to eay chewy ice cream?
I'm tired of soy crisps. Can a girl get some seaweed snacks all up ins?
The answer to all these questions and many more, my friend, is M2M.
This wonderful little store is clean and well stocked, with a busy udon/ramen bar in the back and a modest but excellent stock of prepared foods on heat.
My guess is that this boutique grocery store is a response to the growing population of Asians at NYU, and not to the trend that Japanese snacks are enjoying, because the prices are lower than expected, even for everyday grocery items.

M2M had nearly everything I needed to outfit my kitchen with the supplies and groceries to whip up a monster batch of Sushi. The staff is pretty hands off so you'll have to find what you need on your own. The prices are reasonable and the shelves are stocked with everything you could imagine in an tiny little store. They even have a sushi bar although the fish looked a bit unappetizing! They even had a couple throw back Japanese drinks I haven't seen in awhile. Great location on Broadway near Columbia and just a few blocks down from the West Side Market which will have all your fresh sushi grade fish needs. A+
