Lyric Diner

Got the chicken teriyaki and could barely get my teeth through the meat. Below mediocre quality and not even cheap.

Do not come here. Go to Gramercy Cafe 3 blocks down instead. Was staying a hotel nearby and stopped in for some late night food. Apart from the small over-priced drinks and moldy limes, this place is just not very good. The matzoh ball soup was extremely bland. Service was slow, despite the restaurant being dead, and they made it seem like they were doing us favor by serving us. The food was mediocre at best, best not to waste your money. Checked out the gramercy cafe the next night, which is just a couple blocks down and right by our hotel, and it was night and day. Don't waste your precious time in NYC going to Lyric Diner like we did by not heeding these reviews, better off just holding out on your hunger.

Cozy NYC diner with standard fare. The coffee stands out above other diners.

I have breakfast here every Monday morning and it is always awesome! this morning, I sat next to a huge celebrity, but will not mention the name for privacy.

Recomend for late night eating after a night of drinking. Ok service, Ok food, Ok prices.
