i wish i could give zero stars.
my friend rented a 14 passenger van for 3 hours on her wedding day to bring the bridal party and photographers to take pictures.
they were supposed to pick us up. bring us to the park wait for us and then drive us back to the hotel.
first problem.
- the guy was rude and yelled at us to hurry up when he arrived at the hotel even though we had paid for 3 hours of service.
- they sent an 8 passenger limo for 12 people and the photographer is forced to sit on the floor.
- he drove around for 10 mins and then asked us where he was going / for directions (the park was only 10 mins away)
- he told us he would be waiting for us right where he was. he was in a legal parking spot and there was no reason for him to move
- he demanded the money right then.
-30 mins later we walk up the hill to go back in the limo and he's gone.
- he drove away with all of our belongings, the photographer's thousand dollars wroth of equipment, the marriage license etc.
- we called him and he said he would be back in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we call him and he says he over heated so he had to leave and go get towed???
-he keeps giving us this run around that makes no sense. and will not come back to get us. he starts to ignore all our calls.
-he doesnt answer our calls for 45 mins until we get the bayonne police involved.
- the limo service finally sends another limo guy to pick us up after we are stranded in the park for 2 hours
-we get to the hotel and are still not getting answers about when we will get our stuff. we start running around since we are running late and getting stuff from the hotel.
-15 mins the new limo driver proceeds to try and take out the bride and groom physically from the limo and begins to tell us that it was not in his agreement to bring them to the wedding venue (which was only TWO blocks away) this guy also was subcontracted from another company which i do not know the name but would not recommend either.
-we FINALLY got our belongings back after about 4 hours after about 20 phone calls, lots of arguing, lots of different lies and obviously made up stories and with no sense of remorse from the company who were absolutely rude.
