Outstanding. Not just the food, but the experience. I was doing research for my Book Club dinner (the hostess of the month always serves a dinner befitting the spirit and setting of the book) and we were reading THE HIGH MOUNTAINS OF PORTUGAL. Excellent book- I highly recommend that too! I wanted to taste the dish I would be attempting at home and also ask for recommendations in wines, appetizers and dessert. We asked to see the owner who graciously came to our table and shared her expertise and obvious love for the Portuguese cutler. This restaurant is worth the trip to Queens. The food was delicious!

We order Bacalhau a Gomes de Sá. Bacalhau croquetes and papéis de nata. Everything was delicious.

Amazing Portuguese food for a reasonable price. Definitely on the pricier side but one of the few places I know with cured ham leg. Very unique seafood dishes and some great cuts of meat. Try these from experience.
-Cod croquettes
-Red snapper
-Olives
-Octopus entree
-Lamb
-10 oz Steak
-Portuguese donuts for desert
-Cured Ham leg if with large party
