When George D'Amato and Luke Lynch Sr., were still alive, D'Amato & Lynch was a well regarded insurance coverage law firm, representing AIG almost exclusively. With the passing of George and Luke Sr., Luke Lynch Jr. inherited the firm and, sadly, it has gone down hill ever since. The quality of work they produce is poor in most cases, and just downright bad in others. The lawyers are unresponsive, sloppy and just can't seem to get a handle on any other areas of law outside of insurance, it seems as if they have absolutely no training in any other areas of law (fair enough) but unfortunately they are trying to pretend as if they do and then learn as they go. The problem is that it's not working and the clients get stuck with the mess, along with a large bill to boot. Unfortunately it's a common story with nepotism, the good "second generation" lawyers like Richard George and Kenneth Sagat were pushed out of the firm and the son of the founder took over, he then ran the firm into the ground. Do yourself a favor, avoid this firm.
