Lucille Roberts Astoria

I have been a member since this club first opened on Steinway st. I love coming to work off my stress from a long day.. The classes, instructors, and staff are great.. And it's great bc it has babysitting!! Yay!

An affordable gym that has over 30+ classes a week, child care for my two kids and is all women?!? PERFECT! I moved to Astoria in 2013 and tried multiple gyms in the area & just wasn't satisfied until I walked into the doors of LR. I was initially enticed by the "ladies only" factor of Lucille but then as the weeks went on, I realized what kept me motivated were the classes, the members are super friendly (I've networked and made some other mommy friends) and I have to say the staff at the front is the bomb! Nas, the manager, signed me up and she is amazing .. Really made me feel comfortable and gave me a warm, friendly welcome .. Her smile is contagious and she even gave my daughter a lollipop, SOLD LOL! You make my kids happy and I'm happy too. I couldn't be more pleased. I had all my friends join too. We are losing weight, feeling confident and we love their logo: STRONG, SEXY, CONFIDENT! Keep up the good job LR & make sure to always have Nas & Sam at the front, they are STELLAR & we the members adore them!

I love to come here around 10-4 PM. In that time, u can just do cardio and some lifting without any interruptions or waiting
And the most good thing from this. Equipment is clean although is not sophisticated equipment but still do it's job

It's definitely a great place to sweat it out! Very courteous staff! The classes are awesome.I highly recommend this fitness center.
