Lowe's Home Improvement

A relative new home improvement store like Home Depot but have other varieties of product that HD don't offer. I find that very interesting as a contractor.

We purchased an LG refrigerator from Lowes in Garden City NY. Water was leaking when it tried to make ice. Lowes sent A&E and the guy told us it wasn't leaking. He was rude too. Lowes then sent Dependable who came 4 times to the house to try to fix it but could not get it right. Lowes was simply pointing fingers at LG and Dependable and did not want to make good at all. Finally LG sent another company and the tech got it right within an hour. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Lowes again. We think they were stalling to get through the warranty period. I will be going to an appliance store. Not to mention the sales staff was rarely in the appliance department and the people that were there were not very helpful. Live and learn.

When I was renovating my house the staff here was helpful despite being very busy. The selection is good and if you order online the pickup in store is reliable and quick for same day within a few hours.

Only gave one star because you can't give negative stars. Worst Lowes I've ever dealt with. The customer service is horrendous. The management is very unfriendly and disrespectful.

I have to take the time to compliment Mike Doughen an assistant Store manager at this store. Unfortunately, I experienced several problems with a manufacturer of a bathroom vanity. The product was delivered without side panels. After trying to rectify the problem with Kitchens and baths, I asked for a Manager. Mike quickly took my information and ordered the product. When the panels finally arrived, we opened the granite countertop and sink and noticed that the sink was the wrong color. Michael once again came to the recue keeping us informed of the status of the correct part. I expect delivery Friday and appreciate all that he has done. I notified Corporate to recognize his assistance.
