Wow! I couldn't believe there was no catch! It's really difficult finding a perfect hair salon in a city like New York. This place is both friendly and affordable, incredibly rare. Small, quaint, very charming salon. Surpringly not overcrowded and no overbooking. These ladies have it figured out!
Before Ashley even got started on my hair, she spent maybe 15 minutes just talking with me and figuring out exactly what I wanted for myself. The entire visit, we kept a nice and appropriate conversation amongst ourselves and occasionally with others in the salon. I wasn't anxious or worried about what the result would be; I felt welcome and understood which is a huge deal for me. The cherry on top -- no one tried over selling me. If I wanted a product, it was up to me.
This is the place for the everyday women. Was definitely worth a trip all the way from the Bronx. In my five years here, this is hands down the best salon I've walked into. Looking forward to my next visit!
