Definitely a great park. Solid views of Governors Island, Jersey City, downtown Manhattan, and Lady Liberty. A lot to love.

Discover this park on a field trip and what a find it was. Hidden in the back of Red Hook this quite park has a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty, the Verrazano, Governors Island and Manhattan.
You can easily park on the cobble streets or at the nearby Fairway or Ikea and just stroll the neighborhood the. Have a nice picnic at the park. On weekends the Ikea ferry will drop you off nearby.

A park with one of the best views in the city, featuring the Statue of Liberty and Governor's island. Also very quiet and filled primarily with locals. Great place for a picnic or to watch the sun rise or set. Only a 10 minute ferry ride from Wall Street pier 11 and a 5 minute walk.
