Lotus Bridal

I live in NYC and was extremely overwhelmed with the prospect of buying a dress. My maid of honor, who lives In Los Angeles, recommended Lotus Bridal, among others, and it happened to be my first stop of many shops.

I was spoiled by the customer service at Lotus!!! Annie, the wonderful, sweet, helpful, and completely non-judgmental "helper," helped me choose and try on MANY dresses even though I still had many places to try. There was no pressure, and she was so skilled with the "clips" as she masterfully adjusted every sample to flatter my difficult "short and curvy" frame. I felt like a princess, and she allayed all my fears. I never felt pressured, and was given free reign to have as many people with me and take as many pictures as I wanted, unlike other incredibly overpriced NYC bridal shops.

After going to several other bridal shops, and trying on umpteen dresses, (only one of which had anywhere close to the personal attention, and most of which were slightly snobby) I kept going back to the ones I found at Lotus, where, again, I got the most attention and assistance. After deciding on the perfect dress, I was surprised to find it was one of the cheaper ones I had picked out my first stop in!!!

After I made my purchase, I was given constant updates via email and phone calls, and received a 20% discount on the mother of the groom dress, though I did go with another shop for the bridesmaid dresses, due to them being all over the country.

They have been incredibly communicative and helpful. I would recommend them to any NYC bride!!!

I went to Lotus Bridal on 1/31/2015 to find my dress. Despite that I was late for my appointment (I didn't realize the time I was scheduled for also not sure if it was my error or the receptionist) they took me anyway and Katie helped me find my gown! My dress was very pretty. I actually tried on a similar dress by the same designer at another salon which I told Katie and they price matched it for me. I received my dress on 6/1/2015 and my wedding was a destination wedding and I was set to leave on 8/12/2015.
PROS: they listened to what I wanted and found it quick and was affordable!
CONS: They did not have an in house tailor (wish I knew prior to going) Their suggested local tailors did not answer the phone but the one that did told me my wedding was too close for her to take me. I had to find a tailor on my own (who has time for that while planning a wedding). Also, my backless dress was huge!!!! I wish I would have ordered my street size because to tailor it was nearly impossible being backless there is nothing to grab on to to pull it/make it tighter so do your research on the designer of the dress sizes don't go by what the bridal salon shows you in a book.

Going to Lotus Bridal was an extremely pleasant experience. Sara was very helpful and accommodating. I was able to find my dream dress with ease because of the help and attention I received from the staff. I would certainly recommend this Bridal Shop to every Bride.

I went there twice. The first time, I tried the current samples they have. They have a great selection but it was out of my budget. The person who helped me was very nice, even though I said the dresses were not on my budget she showed me more styles and gave me options to purchase it. I went back there yesterday and found a gown they had from an old season. Valerie helped me tried it on, and showed me different belts that could sparkle up the dress. She even took a picture so I could send to my mom. I bought the dress and came home very happy. I highly recommend Lotus Bridal. They have the best customer service in the area.

Lotus Bridal was awesome! I went everywhere in the city and found all to be too snobby, not service oriented and hugely over-priced! Then I read the reviews and decided to make a trip out to Lotus Bridal. The girls at Lotus Bridal were super helpful and very sweet. They made sure that I was happy and was patient with me. I would highly recommend this place. I loved it and I am picky!!!
