I love this store. Some of the stuff is overpriced ($40 - $60 bed in a bag sets), some of it is just average (Dillard's bras for $6, retail for $15), but some of the items are simply amazing!
Their stock is mostly close outs, some stuff bought at wholesale and sold for a bit more, and some of it is just dirt cheap (especially foods - but everything is new, sealed, and unexpired).
Their stock changes often so I go there every week. The cheapest stuff is at the front of the store.
It might be helpful for you to see some examples of the prices of stuff that I bought from the Broadway address recently (2009).
Some examples of steals:
Entry rug in intricate Persian style (looks HQ): $10
60 Oat and Honey Bars in a box: $5
Microwavable Chef Boyardee Spaghetti & Meatballs: .80 cents
Fancy amber and lavender hand soap in pump: .99 cents
Makeup removing wipes in a box: .79 cents
6 microfiber washcloths: $3.00
Big box of mixed fancy curtains: $5.00 / panel
Set of 3 sock pairs: .99 cents per set
Chicken of the Sea cracker / tuna lunch packets: .99 cents
El Paso Enchilada kit: .99 cents
gift bags: .99 cents (many quite elaborate with sequins, cutouts)
purses and backpacks: around $5
preppy hats: $2
basic female underwear: .99 cents
big makeup kit by NYC (lip gloss, 4 eyeshadow, 2 blush, mascara, fake lashes): $1.99
HQ drinking glasses: .99 cents
Examples of some overpriced or average price stuff I bought (for comparison):
Avon watch: $5.00
Wireless bras: $5.99 each
faux fur throw: $13.00
towels: $6.00
steel trashcan: $14.00
full size sheet set: $10.00 - $17.99 depending on brand
shower curtains: $9.99
quilt bed sets: 39.99 all sizes
Fancy bed in a bag: 49.99, 69.99
In short, you'll get a mix of things (about 40% bargain, 60% normal prices) but some truly awesome deals! Look at the front especially. It's like your basic home decor store meets walmart and often lower!
