Los Gemelos Restaurant

This is my second review (a follow-up) for Los Gemellos.
I stopped in again for lunch recently, over a year later from my first time here.
I still cannot believe that the lunch menu has the same $5.00 price for a full meal.
Seriously, with a choice of Chicken or Steak (yes Steak!) with two sides, hot fresh torillas and two sauces... how can you go wrong? There are few places that you get such an incredible deal for great home cooked food. Definitely stop here if you are in the Port Chester area.

Good Spanish food for fair prices. The people who work here do give you a feeling that they do all they can to make you have the best experience. I am a big fan of spanish food, and i eat here almost every Tuesday or Wednesday i a always leave happy. I cant say that they have gourmet food, but definitely fair return for your money when you go to eat Spanish food.

New ownership new cook horrible food its tastless, cold rice, dry chicken. This used to be the spot my family and i would always eat at but now its terrible they changed the cook. The silver dishes are so low quality the aluminum rubs onto our food its disgusting and you can see it if you rub it with a napkin. Would not recommend coming here anymore i'm sure not. There not honest either about changing the staff/cook either you can taste the difference.

They just to have great servers,,and the food was realy exelent,maybe they change the.cheff couse the food is bland,,no flavor at all,nothing to enjoy,,,poor service,,the girls tallk each other ignoring the costumers, ,,

first, the horchata is a rip off at 3.25 for a small glass. the tostadas came like they just threw a spoonful of meat on top. The menu said it came with cheese, cream, lettuce, and tomato. they changed it. it was like nobody knew what the hell was going on. The taco al pastor had pieces of cartilage that my dog wouldn't even chew. I almost grabbed my girlfriend and walked out. NO CHIPS AND SALSA EITHER, its a tortilla factory, you would think they could throw some chips on the table. my girlfriend had a sope that was thicker than my wallet and very greasy. The cooks come from mexico, where I lived for two years, I thought they would know how to cook. The awards on the walls are fake, they had their cousin make them at his printing shop. I will never go back.
