Although I love the fabrics used in Loro Piana clothing. I do not feel they stand behind the quality of their work. My husband has owned a very expensive leather coat for three years that he has seldom worn. In spite of occasional weekend use in the winter, the zipper broke after two seasons. I have owned a lightweight jacket for two years, and the zipper just broke a few weeks ago. When we brought the coats to the store for repair, we were told that we would be charged for the $375 repair. There is only a one year warranty on zippers. We find it amazing that a company that promotes itself on the quality of their products does not stand behind them if the "quality" does not hold up.
