Good wash and set

Ive been going to this hair salon for the past 6 years. I have nothing but great things to say about this amazing place. The stylists makes you feel right at home. Roma, the owner makes you feel very comfortable. Around the holidays, she throw parties to show appreciation to her clients.She is a very warm person. They are very professional, i'm sorry that others don't feel the same way! However, they must being doing something wonderful because the salon is always packed with clients.

The owner talks to customers extremely disrespectfully. Today, a woman came in at 5pm for a perm. Lopez takes its last customer at 5:30. Roma, the owner, blasted the woman for coming in "at the last minute." I was embarrassed for the customer. In addition to this, the hair stylists constantly make fun of their customers in Spanish, assuming that their customers have no clue what they are saying. The owner is incredibly disrespectful so her employees follow suit. Roma has forgotten that she needs customers in order to have a salon. There are tons of Dominican hair salons around Brooklyn. I'd recommend going to a different one.

PS: I've been a customer of Lopez for 10 years, and I am absolutely through with them. The only pleasant stylists are Janet (lovely woman) and Kathy when she's in a good mood.

I have been coming here for over two years now. The staff is so efficient. I never have to wait for services. Even if your stylist is busy, there will be several others to take care of you to make sure you're not waiting long. And the owner, Roma, is very hands on. Janet is my primary stylist and she works wonnotice my hair. My hair has grown longer since I've been coming here and everyone notices the difference. It's full of bounce and volume. And all at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this salon!

I had a great experience at this salon. I wanted to have a keratin treatment done for the first time. Roma(hair stylist)explained to me the process of applying the treatment and the upkeep I should do. She warned me that it would be expensive for me to get this treatment done because I have a lot of hair, in which they charge based on the amount of keratin treatment they apply. However, she gave me a discount on the price.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my hair, she did a great job!
I am definitely coming back for my weekly wash and sets.
