I've been very discouraged with the negative and argumentative attitude we get, if we bring up any complaints to share at the front desk. The Y at LIC management should visit other location, for instance the one at Livingston or the one at Kingston,NY or any other, they have it clean, pleasant, friendly and the sona doesn't "suck". We pay for our service, even though we appreciate the service it provides to the needy, but they can still be better to others.
