I used to be a patient in this office of the amazing Dr. Kenneth Altabef who recently left the practice. When he left his patients were never formally transitioned to another physician. Since he has left i have seen different Doctors every time and Assistants. I called Tuesday to speak with a doctor regarding changing my birth control script. I just wanted to discuss my options.I was told Dr. Beavull was the only one available. I was told she would call me either later Tuesday or the next day. When I called yesterday to see what was the hold up I was told she was still the only DR available and that she would call me at her earliest convenience. Not in 24 hours not in 48 hours not is this something a nurse can assist you with but that she would call me when she got around to it. It is now Thursday and she has still not called me. Any time i call there is always an issue i'm either kept on hold or told some one will call me back and they never do. Yesterday i was told i could make an appointment to see Dr. B at the Lake Success office. I shouldn't have to make an appointment if i'm in good health. In addition to that at the Garden city office i have literally waited hours! and by hours i don't mean 1 or 2 or even 3 I literally no lie waited in the office for 4 and 5 hours on more than 1 occasion. All I can say is Dr. A was the only good doctor they had and and they have no idea how to treat customers. I'm Done!

Very few things in life aggrivate me, but the service at this office was terrible in addition to the fact that I was left with a $600 balance bill for services that I did not need.
I had to wait for over an 1 hour - in a patient robe to even see a doctor. I have had normal routine paps for several years and was new to the area and to Dr. Magdala Beauvil. I found her bedside manner to be cold and apathetic. I was there to have my yearly pap and complained of ZERO issues. I was then given a sonogram, after being told it was routine. 3 months later I had $600 bill from my insurance company b/c Dr. Beauvil neglected to file correct "Annual Visit " CPT code. Instead citing "irregularities" and thus the sonogram. To me this is a clear cut case of the physican taking advantage of the patient and the health care system. After speaking with people in my community I soon found out that this is a normal occurance for this office. Furthermore, Dr. Beauvil left her practice in Garden City after abuses to the system. I was a lucky one b/c I was not called back for a culpo. I will NEVER go back to this office again.
