Lodestar International Tours

We just returned from a wonderful tour to Scandinavian countries with an amazing Evgeniy Bonev. This is our 3rd tour with Lodestar and 1st one with Evgeniy. We had such a nice time! Beautiful countries, well set-up program, good hotels (although without conditioners!). But the most remarkable was our guide: very knowledgeable, intelligent, highly educated, multilingual, he planned our busy days carefully and well-balanced. Our pace was right for everybody and Evgeniy was making sure that nobody got lost, everybody could hear him; if somebody stayed in the bus, he was taking their cameras to make pictures. He offered his hand and support to everybody, was always dedicated, considerate, caring. In addition to the main program we had lovely late evening walks - actually additional tours, when he was showing us very special places, shared his personal stories.Evgeniy has such a pleasant personality, so wonderful sence of humor, it was just a pleasure to spend these 2wks around him. We are looking forward for next vacations with him and just wish he would have more tours in more countries.
On the contrary, our previous trip to UK and Scotland with Igor Rogovoy was just the opposite - extremely intense and busy, he was rushing, people could not keep up. The enormous amount of information he provided was impossible to digest, the number of cemeteries we attended could not be counted (he certainly has a thing with them!). We will carefully choose our future trips to avoid Igor.
Still overall company is doing a wonderful job, planning very interesting tours, all operators in the office are very helpful, many thanks for great vacations!

We just returned from a splendid trip to Scandinavia where we visited: Denmark, Norway and Sweden. This is the first time we used this company services and we are very happy we did. Our tour guide Victor Gruman is a true Wikipedia of knowledge. He really put his soul into this trip. In comparison to other tour guides who have wealth of knowledge and talk non-stop Victor made sure to deliver everything in an informative manner and in a way that he keeps you intrigued and you just want to come home to start reading and researching more. He also offered a lot of walking tours in addition to the regular program.

In comparison to other companies, our tour guide made sure to wait for the entire group, count the entire group before heading to the new place and always giving time to eat lunch on time and to "wash hands". This is crucial!

The tour was greatly organized. We also stayed in wonderful hotels. Having a tour with 46 people it was impressive how punctual everything was from start to finish.

I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a tour to Scandinavia or any other country.
