Locks N Chops Natural Hair

Wow, these neg comments. Oh well, each its own. I left Locs n Chops for no reason other than a change due to moving. Locs n Chops have always done an amazing job with my hair. I started my locs in 2003 and when I came back in 2016, the prices did not change.

I always was pleased with the way my hair looked. Never ever disappointment. The owner, Orin has always been classy with me along with his staff and other clients. The conversation is always enlightening and as far as hole in the wall, location is location but the space upstairs is beautiful and decorated in an Afrocentric and soothing way.

Big ups to Locs n Chops. I am glad that I returned.

I really like this salon... they really love what they do here. The owner (Orin) actually did my hair and he was very accommodating. At the time of my appt. the salon was very busy...there was a lot of clients coming in after working hours, yet still I got in and out within a timely manner. After my hair cut I received so many compliments and I loved my cut...needless to say I will be going back.

This place is not a whole-in-the-wall as stated in a prior review, however it is a small "Locks N Chop" salon that specializes in natural hair care of all kinds. I like the atmosphere, the conversation and the warm welcoming smiles. I initailly went to receive a "free" consultation and then after getting a feel of the salons energy I made an appt and I must say I was very happy with my experience and I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a natural hair care professional salon that will not charge you a limb or two in New York City.

I actually loved my service. The owner did my hair and engaged in enlightening conversation about hair and other subject matter which made my time there very enjoyable. The soothing atmosphere and attention to detail make me want to come back. I have been reading some of the other reviews, but my experience was excellent.
