I've been attending this camp for seven years now (as a camper for six and a counselor in training for one year), and there hasn't been a single year when I haven't enjoyed being there and looked forward to it immensely. The only obligatory activity is a half-hour long swim class for kids ages 4-9. Otherwise, the whole day is blissful free time with a variety of choices of activities. They include arts and crafts, beading/stitchery, animals, woodwork, clay, mud excavation, a playground, gardening, dance, yoga, cooking, theater, fossil digging, you name it! The staff is very kind and helpful, and everything is completely safe. There is a nurse on staff and a counselor to camper ratio of 1-5. The counselors check to make sure their whole group is there every half hour to 45 minutes. I strongly recommend this camp to any parent looking for a place where their kid can have a good time.
