Lindcrest Apartments

Been living here on Academy side of Lindcrest for about two months and I have to say that the Maintenance Supervisor, Mike and his team are hands down the best set of maintenance team that I've experienced in my years of leasing. Keep up the great work, Mike!

HORRRRRRRRRRIBLE !!! first off I literally grew up around the corner from this complex and didn't think there was anything wrong with these apartments, by far the worst year. I could not WAIT to end my lease. The lady in the office is nice until you sign your lease then she treats you like you're not nearly as good as her. Granted the apartments have all been remodeled that was nice.... until there's a problem and you have to wait AT LEAST two hours for someone to show up to fix your issue. I had a leak in the bedroom ceiling which was dripping on my my electrical cables and tv.. they came out to fix it.. All that was done was the radiator turned off from the people upstairs. No one ever came to check for mold or paint the leak NOTHING. second I found THREE COCKROACHES in my hallway I called the maintainence to report it & was told "ma'am that is not an emergency no one will come out for that" when in the lease it clearly states that they will come spray your apartment for you if you have any insect issues. Never received a phone call or anything regarding this. the neighbors are HORRRRRIBLE AND INCONSIDERATE just like everyone else there. It is required LEGALLY to have all tenants on the second floor have 75 to 80 percent of the floor covered in carpets... That's a joke they PURPOSELY stomped around and dropped things ALLLLLLLL THE TIME. also mind you this is not a smoke free complex.. Everyone has a deck area. I got told that the neighbors complained about me smoking cigarettes on the deck so the lady from the office took it upon herself to tell me I was NOT allowed to smoke.. That was a good one. The parking is a NIGHTMARE !!!!!! My car was brand new now my bumper has been side swiped so many times from all the assholes that do not know how to park and I had to call the cops TWICE because my car was sandwiched into my parking space. when it snows they do not plow anything. This past winter it snowed nothing was done for about two days and the street was not plowed until A WEEK LATER !!!! Last but not least, my lease ended May 31st.. I clearly stated in my letter (letter for not renewing your lease that you must send) I would like to be PRESENT for the walk through inspection. I wrote this one paper, called the office twice and spoke to the super personally.. Well guess what no one called me and they did the inspection themselves. I go to the office because I see people in the apartment to ask what's going on the lady couldn't get words out of her mouth then I asked am I getting the security back ... She says I don't know. WHO IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF YOU DONT !!!!!!! then finally when she collected her stupid thoughts told me that everything was fine but I would be getting charged 175 from my security so they can repaint the apartment... Last time I checked and it actually states it in the lease the COMPLEX is responsible for painting the apartment before a new tenant moves in. I understand if I painted the walls a different color but no all I did was hang pictures and whatever wall damage was done I fixed myself. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!! I RATHER LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX.

I've lived here for almost a year. It's a really nice place to live. The maintenance is nice and very active. During the winter the property was cleared from the snow by the end of the day. As far as parking, if you don't have a garage then you will have a hard time finding a space to park, especially since there is another apartment complex around the corner on Hollywood. I gave it 4 stars because my neighbors who live upstairs walk extremely hard and run up and down the stairs and is hard for me to sleep at night. I think all 2nd floor tenants should be required to have carpet on the floor to reduce the noise. I can tell they do t have carpet on the floors. But overall it's a nice place to live.

This apartment has a great new kitchen and bathroom. I love to cook and it is so easy to do with all of this workspace. Plenty of room in the bedroom and the living room. The ladies in the office are both very helpful - and the maintenance guys are very responsive. If you are looking for an apartment check it out.

Rooms are two small. Parking is very difficult. Closet space is very limited.
