Amazing view. Peaceful. It's a damn lighthouse in a park in NYC! What more can I say? Make sure to visit if you're ever on Roosevelt Island, it's just north of the Hospital complex. Sit on the ledge with your feet dangling above the East River and breathe.

Great views from the lighthouse. I highly recommend visiting the entire island by bike. If you can go after dark the lighthouse is nicely lit up as well.

This is a great place to go if you have a free afternoon. Great view and a real lighthouse. I plan on going back next summer.

Awesome place to spend a saturday with family. Some people try to hog the grills all day, but I learned that if you're ready to grill, just take over the grill. Had a fallout with a guy who put his bag on the grill. Waited fifteen minutes and he never came, so i took it. He stormed out claiming it's his. Told him we will be an hour. Took a half hour, and three hours later he still wasn't using the grill.
