Talk about great food. I stopped in to pick up food for the family and I wasn't able to leave until I bought a few pigs in a blanket for the car ride. Simply wonderful.

This is one of the last few delis left in the outerboroughs. They have a wide range of kosher foods. The corned beef and brisket sandwiches are huge and extremely delicious. Not fatty, like some delis. The soups are homemade. They have all kinds of knishes: traditional square (fried) or round (baked) potato knishes; broccoli, hot dog, even fruit knishes. There are lunch specials and dinner specials. Everything I had there was good except for the chicken pot pie. The top was rubbery and hard. I would not recommend it. Everything else is really good. Service is good, depending upon the waiter. Prices are moderate to expensive. They also cater.

Old School Jewish Deli. Can't beat a naked, fresh pastrami on fresh baked Jewish Rye Bread. Boy I miss this. This foodtography doesn't do them justice. I got Chix soup, 2 pickles, coleslaw and sandwichon the daily lunch special. One of Long Islands comeback kids since the Sandy damage. Worth the trip.

My over priced roast beef sandwich (around 11 bucks) was just OK. I'll have to go back and try the corned beef.
