Lots of space to move around, great little turf area to sit and have a drink. Got to try some food and drinks from the multiple vendors. It was pretty hot outside, so I was in my natural habitat, loving it!
The view of the Manhattan skyline from here is great!

Although this destination always begins their season on a high note by the time Autumn comes around, it loses many of its vendors and the colorful neighborhood characters that would otherwise visit for local food, beer and shopping bargains. Nonetheless a great waterfront destination filled with delicious surprises.

I just can't recommend LIC Flea. It's a ten- or fifteen-minute walk from a couple of obscure subway stops, and frankly I'm not sure it's even worth the walk. There are exactly three aisles with maybe 80 booths, at least half dedicated to the usual overpriced flea market food. Next most popular is vintage jewelry, with collectibles faaar behind. If you've been everywhere else and done everything, maybe combine a trip here with a visit to PS1. Otherwise, head to Smorgasburg/Brooklyn Flea instead.

The Long Island City Flea market misrepresents the quality of their venue, the "tv shows" that "appear" at their flea (or rather don't appear), and steals money from small vendors or instead strong-arms them into paying $1500 to cancel their spot, after charging $2100 to vend. Vender and buyer beware. Go to the Brooklyn Flea instead. Better food, contract terms, vendors, management, location, and value for the money for all parties involved. Don't waste you time here. It's a trap.

Small and not too crowded, you get more sense of community and very friendly vendors that know their clients by first name. Tried a pulled pork sandwich from Butcher Bar which was a bit bland. For sweets I recommend the yummy baked goods from Esta-Joy's Kitchen and Bad Nana caramels.
